The fifth edition of UMEX 2022 concluded yesterday at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, and was the largest edition of this event in terms of exhibition area and exhibitors, with 134 exhibitors from 26 countries from around the world. EBTIC were present on the Khalifa University stand throughout the event.
Among the four EBTIC projects Wasim, a dedicated Arabic language solution, is the region’s first Machine Learning data labelling solution provider for the Arabic market for both national and international clients, while Next Generation Resource Planning is a complete end-to-end resource planning solution that allows proactive planning of a mobile workforce to help optimise deployment, maximise utilisation, and minimise maintenance.
Muzamanh, an EBTIC start-up which offers an intelligent timing solution, was also on display. Muzamanh technology reduces the dependency on GPS, as it allows accurate synchronisation by utilising existing standards such as Precision Time Protocol (PTP). Finally, EBTIC presented its work on food import prediction, that was completed with Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA).
An EBTIC spin-off and award-winning start-up SPL Solutions, which offers a service to simplify and streamline software governance, development, and cloud migration, was part of the Khalifa Innovation Centre stand.
All projects were well received by many of the UMEX guests, including many dignitaries and VIPs.
