Ahmed Talal Suliman

Research Associate

Ahmed received his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering and Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Khalifa University in 2016 and 2018, respectively.

The focus of his thesis was developing a framework for efficient compliance checking in BPMN models. His research experience includes the application of knowledge bases to build ontologies used for short text analysis, the development of incentive mechanisms for Mobile Crowd Sensing, and the development of an autonomous system for the democratization of Internet of Things (IoT) data through the use of Smart Contracts. The result of this work is published in various international journals and conferences.

In addition to his work, he has participated in various programming contests, mainly the Gulf Programming Contest (GPC) which he won in 2016 and serves as a Judge in the Emirates Technology and Innovation Competition (ETIC) for the Programming and Cyber Security categories.

Currently, at EBTIC he is a member of the Software Product Line (SPL) team.
