Ebtesam Almazrouei


Ebtesam Almazrouei is a Researcher at EBTIC in Next-Generation Communication Network Architectures; she received a master's degree at Khalifa University in 2015.

Ebtesam received her Bachelor's Degree in Communication Engineering from United Arab Emirates University. She was awarded the UAEU IEEE award for her graduation project “Remote Controlled Surveillance Robot”. During her studies at UAEU, Ebtesam conducted many research projects such as designing a cellular system network and a vehicle tracking system. Ebtesam is a member of IEEE and was an organizer and participant of many UAEU engineering and non-engineering activities receiving a number of awards.

Ebtesam was exposed to the semiconductor industry through her internship at GLOBAL FOUNDRIES (Fab 1), Dresden, Germany in 2010. She was also an intern in Electrical Engineering and Air Navigation Services department in Abu Dhabi Airports Company. In addition, she holds a CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate), an Honor Certificate for the outstanding academic performance from Cisco Systems, Inc. as well as a Certificate of Entrepreneurship from Emirates Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
