The EBTIC Strategic Advisory Board (ESAB) is made of senior representatives from key influential organisations in the UAE, in addition to representatives from the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA), Etisalat, Khalifa University and BT (British Telecom).

The board meets to deliberate on mechanisms and approaches that can guide EBTIC in its engagement with key government organisations and help it further align itself with the UAE strategic priorities.

The board aims to be a national think tank advocating the importance of technology innovation in general and in Information Communication Technology in particular to help realise a knowledge economy in the UAE.

Through its members, the board promotes key concepts and frameworks within their organisations and to the wider UAE community with the sole purpose of delivering tangible value to these organisations and the nation. This is to be achieved through breakthrough technologies, intellectual property generation, knowledge transfer and down-streaming, reputation enhancement through scientific publications and talent development.
